Emma's 8th Birthday

Emma turned 8 in May this year and she had a couple of birthday parties! They're shown here out of order, but she had a party with her friends on a Wednesday afternoon, and the weather turned out perfectly for water fights! The family party was ON her birthday, and we had a great time.

And now back in time a couple days to her first party...

Joys of Tetherball

Brian, Emma and Rachel decided to make a tetherball pole and it's been one of their favorite things to do for the past couple weeks.

Of course when Rachel's not playing ball she's jumping on the trampoline behind her or just playing "diva".

And even Scott decided to play with Em the next day. He took it easy on her though and played on his knees.
Even so, I think he still got beat a couple times.

First Birthday

Our next door neighbors (and good friends) celebrated their daughter's first birthday in January. Alexis turned one and we got to share it with them. Tons of fun!
